If you’re a friend of Alexandra Selezneva, you know the joke. If you’re ever wondering if you can fit more activities into your waking hours, just talk to Selezneva about what she’s accomplished today. At the Coca-Cola Company, Selezneva currently spends her energy on her role as senior director of workplace business strategy (corporate real estate, North America), and on a new short-term assignment Selezneva took on in June 2025 on behalf of Coca-Cola’s partnership with the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Selezneva joined this energetic team dedicated to the biggest sports event in the world as an internal ambassador and engagement lead—someone who will inspire and motivate associates to fully embrace this experience and partnership. Her role is to help bring the energy of the world’s biggest event to life across the company and ensure that everyone feels part of this global moment.
“I just love finding new opportunities at Coke to continue to grow this almost 140-year-old company,” Selezneva says. “There are countless opportunities and directions one can take here.” And Selezneva just might explore them all.

Selezneva came to Coke in 2024, and though it’s only been a year and a half, the senior director has made great use of her time. The learning curve, she says, was a difficult one, as evidenced in the first project she became involved with.
“I joke that my onboarding was the best and worst it could have been,” the senior director explains. “When I say ‘worst,’ I mean there were so many associates I didn’t know because I was new.”
The “Refresh” project involved coordinating 54 teams across Coke’s campus and relocating them to neighborhoods that reflect current team needs following growth, organizational changes, and evolving collaboration patterns. For Selezneva, it was baptism by fire, but an invaluable experience in stakeholder engagement. The senior director says it was ideal for her first assignment because she secured face time with people she’d be working with in the future from across the corporate headquarters.
“I just had to be okay with having to get to know so many people at once on this role,” Selezneva says. “Fortunately, the project was a huge success with all of the executive leadership teams, so I would like to think that I learn fast.”

At present, Selezneva’s role centers on managing Coke’s North American real estate portfolio, with a particular focus on the company’s largest hubs, like its Atlanta headquarters. The senior director accepted her job with a clear mandate: set the agenda for the new era of the workplace, a landscape fundamentally transformed by the pandemic and now characterized by hybrid work, agility, and a renewed emphasis on collaboration.
Selezneva’s vision for the workplace is rooted in three core principles: collaboration, flexibility, and technology.
Selezneva has championed the creation of spaces that foster teamwork rather than traditional one-to-one desk assignments. That approach is reflected in Selezneva’s own workday. She regularly moves between co-working floors, huddle spaces, and other work areas. The goal is to provide a variety of environments, each designed to support different models of work, and provide opportunities for creativity and interaction.
That means spaces need to be multifunctional. Offices, for example, are now equipped to serve as private workspaces and have meeting room capabilities. That means every square foot of real estate is optimized for individual focus and group collaboration, whatever is required.
Beyond ensuring robust AV and IT infrastructure, Selezneva has also pushed for the integration of AI and analytics to inform real estate strategy and create smarter, more responsive environments. The senior director doesn’t see tech as a mere support function; she sees it as a driver of productivity and engagement when harnessed correctly.

In coming to Coke, Selezneva brought nearly 20 years of real estate experience, an Executive MBA (her third degree after her first in geopolitics and economics, along with a very long list of additional educational certifications and four languages she speaks fluently), and a mind that is always sourcing its next inspiration.
Selezneva built out early experience in all of those areas at Colliers International, where she spent her eight-plus years and was promoted five times ending up leading the team for the whole country with presence in several offices around it. Her early focus was on connecting developers with end users, providing strategic consulting that bridged the gap between vision and execution which helped her to become the Top Producer two times. The consulting experience gave her a holistic view of the real estate landscape from both the developer and end user’s perspectives.

She later moved to the development side, overseeing construction of commercial and real estate facilities with a focus on industrial sites. Selezneva learned how to create spaces that were not only functional, but adaptable to the evolving needs of a business.
As for finding those extra hours in a day, Selezneva is also an active member of Impact100, a nonprofit dedicated to collective philanthropy and women’s empowerment. The senior director says her involvement is driven by a desire to give back to the Atlanta community, and that she sees her involvement with the organization as an extension of her professional mission: to create spaces where people can thrive.
