Frequently
Asked
Questions
How can I be featured in American Builders Quarterly?
You can reach out to us directly through the Contact Form, and we’ll follow up to see how we can work with you.
Is American Builders Quarterly pay to play?
The short answer is no. We produce a variety of content, some of which is produced with the support of the executives’ external partners and much of which is earned, produced independently without direct advertising.
Many of our executive profiles follow a cobranded content model, where we collaborate with executives and their trusted partners to craft compelling narratives of their career journeys and thought leadership. This option provides the executive with enhanced, premier storytelling where they get to play a key role in the creation of their story while also feeling the support from their partners and their company. It provides executives, companies and/or PR leaders a level of control in crafting a narrative that helps advance strategy.
Partners who choose this opportunity are able to promote the important work they are doing, become part of our executive network, and strengthen relationships with the executives they are supporting.
Are executive profiles the only way I can be featured in American Builders Quarterly?
No, there are other ways to be highlighted in American Builders Quarterly! We’ve developed earned recognition pathways to provide another opportunity to showcase your expertise and thought-leadership. There are three ways we recognize you:
- Editorial: You may be included in our popular Executives to Watch lists, which vary from general lists to more focused lists (i.e., Finance Executives to Watch) or in other ways as determined by our editorial team.
- Social: Your leadership advice, completed project/initiative, promotion, or another outstanding achievement may get a shout-out on our LinkedIn.
- Newsletter: Similar to social, you may be included in our newsletter, which could showcase your leadership advice, a completed project/initiative, promotion, or an achievement.
Who gets chosen for earned recognition?
Every week, members of our American Builders Quarterly team speak with dozens of vetted executives who share endless insights, advice, and achievements. Those executives and their insights are then provided to our editorial team, who use the earned recognition pathways to guide how to best showcase the executives.
We also field pitches from agencies and internal PR/communications teams that seek to elevate their executive leadership. If you would like to recognize an executive, submit your inquiry to our editorial team here.

What is the process for reviewing my feature?
Fact-checking is part of our editorial process for all content we produce. For the executive profiles, featured executives are given the opportunity to review their feature prior to publication to ensure accuracy and provide any necessary corrections.
What type of corrections are allowed to digital features after they have been published?
Changes requested after publication may only be made if they are correcting a factual inaccuracy such as a misspelled name; incorrect date, statistic, or biographical detail; broken link; or typo. Any update that does not address a factual inaccuracy, such as a stylistic change request, inclusion of superlatives, or additional details altogether, may not be made. Approved corrections or updates to online content are acknowledged in an editor’s note at the end of the article.
How does your team use AI when producing content?
If AI plays a pivotal role in content creation, an editor’s note is placed at the end of the article: This article/video/audio was created with assistance from AI.
